| Many times Metro Detroit first time homebuyers will ask me why there is only one picture of a home? There are two different categories why there are only one picture of a home. 1.) Foreclosures – Many times Metro Detroit foreclosure agents do not have the time to go out and takepictures of the inside of the homes. It may be just an average home. The Metro Detroit foreclosure listing agent knows that home buyers want foreclosures because they are supposedly the best deals out there. So they know home buyers are going to come see them. They know the house will sell. You could call it lazy on the listing agents part. But they want you to come and see the house. 2.) Private owned houses – If there is only one picture of a house and it is private owned I would most likely bet it is in poor condition inside. It is either ugly or in need of a lot of work. So the bottom line is that the only way to find out what is inside of a house if there is one picture is to go look at it. Sure it may be a waste of time, but then again you might find a nice house. So go look at the foreclosure home and see what it looks like. You never know.
