Read over the offer that you have received on your West Bloomfield home.  Do not rely on your realtor.  Write down your questions and ask your realtor for clarification.  They are asking for you to pay concessions.  So let’s discuss seller’s concessions.  Seller’s concessions are no big deal and is very normal in this price range.  90 – 95% of all offers in lower price ranges probably ask for seller’s concessions.  The amount they ask for basically comes of the offer price.

When a buyer asks for a seller concession on your West Bloomfield home it is off your net.  The buyer asks for them because they most likely could not pay all the closing costs.  So you do not want to cut the closing costs.  You want to raise the price if possible if you do not like the bottom line.

The buyers just do not have the cash for the closing costs.  The way you have to look at is that it is a deduction off the list price.  So look at your bottom line and do not worry about the words “seller’s concessions”.  Bottom line is that the buyer most likely needs them to buy your home and you have to figure out whether the net number is one you can live with.
