So what are you going to do if the seller of the house doesn’t respond back by the deadline?  You set a deadline to get an answer quickly and so other buyers would not sneak in.  But now the seller isn’t responding within the time period.  In fact it is 8 hours past the dead line.  So what do you do?  The question is how bad do you want the house?

Do you bail out of the deal because they are not following the rules?  Do you get mad because they are not following what you say?  Sure they are taking a chance that you are going to back out.  But if you do not have a second home that you are interested in.  Then you just have to wait.  You really do not have a choice unless you want to withdraw your offer and not get the house.  So what are you going to do?  What is in your best interest?  Take your emotions out of it and realize that you are not in control of when the seller make a decision.  Make the smart decision and wait for the seller to make a decision.
