I have a Livonia home buyer that said he was worried about the appraisal of the home he was buying. He had just had an inspection done on another house that went bad. There were some many hidden items the Livonia home inspector turned up. So my buyer had spent $300 on a home that the seller would not fix the items.
Now we were putting in an offer on another Livonia home. It was a very nice home but it was a little overpriced. My home buyer was worried that it would not appraise and then the deal would fall apart. This was a bank foreclosure.
When the appraisal comes in lower on a bank owned home I have never had a bank not lower the price of the home to the appraised price.
