During “showings” turn on ALL lights and lamps (even in bright daylight). 3) Don’t Turn Your Home into a Second-Hand Store When prospects come to view your home, don’t distract them with offers to sell those furnishings you no longer need. You may lose the biggest sale of all. 4) Here’s an outdoor tip, now that the weather has finally improved: Look critically at all plants and prune bushes and trees. The big offenders are any plants which block your windows. As Barb Schwarz says, “YOU CAN’T SELL A HOUSE IF YOU CAN’T SEE IT.” Plants are like children – they grow so fast!!
