Veterans Day Event November 11 in Farmington
| The American Legion Groves-Walker Post 346 will host a Veterans Day Event on Sunday, November 11th at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs Banquet Room of their facility at 31775 Grand River Avenue in Farmington. The American Legion will honor all veterans who sacrificed and served in the services of the Armed Forces of the United States. Special recognition will go to Korean War veterans to honor the 60 year anniversary of the signing of the Armistice to end the war in Korea. The Veterans Day Event is open to allveterans, including those who are not members of the American Legion. Several local dignitaries and speakers will participate in the event, which will feature a champagne toast to honor veterans. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic champagne will be served and the Legion Auxiliary will also offer additional refreshments. There is no charge for the event.
