Canton Parks and Recreation

Canton has 2 public golf courses (Pheasant Run and Fellows Creek Golf courses) and a senior center.  The Village Theater in Cherry Hill opened in September 2004, and features art programs. Canton Township has 6 parks that cover over 270 acres.

Summit on the Park Canton’s state of the art recreation center is the heart of the Canton community and features a fitness center, personal training, aquatic center, banquet and conference center, full size gymnasium, racquetball court, child care facilities and many recreational programs or events for any age or interest.

Victory Park – The gateway to sports in Canton featuring Canton Sports Center, Arctic Edge Ice Arena and High Velocity Sports. If sports is your game, it’s at Victory Park.

For information on Huron-Clinton Metroparks, call 800-47-PARKS. William P. Holliday Nature Preserve. This park cuts into the northeast corner of Canton at Koppernick Road, east of the C&O railtracks. 500 acres total, 57 acres in Canton. River Rouge Parkway: Flood plain along the lower Rouge River from Canton Center to Hannan Road. 267 acres, undeveloped.
