Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas.  To me it has always been a very special day and time of the year.  Going to church, the family traditions, the family dinners, the family get togethers, of course the gifts.  I love giving gifts.  I always seem to go overboard.  For years I used to take on side jobs so I could have lots of mad money at Christmas.  I loved buying gifts and buying a little extra for the people I love.  Nothing is a good as buying that item that they wouldn’t buy for themselves because of the cost or because their money needed to be spent elsewhere.  I love doing that.  I told my wife today that I can’t wait for some of the nieces or nephews to have a children because I am ready to buy kids toys again.

Spending quality time and making memories is what the holidays is all about.  Good times, time to put aside differences and mellow out amongst friends.  So I wish for each of you

  • a safe holiday
  • a thoroughly enjoyable day
  • time to take in all the smiles and laughter that you have help make
  • time to thank the almighty for all your blessings

Merry Christmas from my family to yours

Russ Ravary
