If you are looking for a real estate salesperson I’m not that guy

If you are looking for a metro Detroit real estate salesperson I may not be the guy you want:

~~~ You see I’m not going to “SELL YOU”

~~~  You see I’m not going to force you to buy my listings or any listing for that matter.  I am going to give you all the listings that are for sale.  I don’t care if one is only going to pay me 2 1/2% versus 3%.  I am not going to get upset when I think a house is great or when you don’t buy a house today. Buying house is up to you.  It’s your decision at your pace.

~~~ I’m not going to sell you on any one house.  Sure I will point out benefits but I will  also point out potential problems when I see them.  I’ll tell you to keep a running scoreboard of what your top three houses every time we go out to look at Metro Detroit homes.  I see quite a few houses and may let you know that this house is a bargain……… but if you don’t like it and it doesn’t fit your criteria the ultimate decision is up to you.

~~~ If the house inspection comes up with problems it is your decision to buy, or not to buy.  I’m not going to get mad, or try to talk you into buying a home.  We will go out and look at more homes, and find you the home that doesn’t have those major issues.  I don’t want you to buy a money pit or that has potential heath issues.

~~I’m not going to limit the number of Michigan houses you see.  I’m not going to give you a lousy line “I am going to pick out five houses and if you can’t find your house in one of the five then I’m not doing my job”  Or “why don’t you like this house”  The agent that has a set limit of how many house of 3,5, or 7 homes doesn’t want to show you any more.  I have shown customers 80 houses.  I don’t mind showing you and your family houses so long as you are a serious buyer.  Though there are time home buyers have unrealistic expectations of finding the perfect house at a unrealistic price.  Remember it is a job for me, it has to be profitable to me.  So don’t expect any real estate agent to show you 80 homes or invest 100 hours in the $20,000 range that they make $600.

I’m not a salesperson, You see I am more of an order taker.  I will send you the listings for you to pick out the homes you want to see.  I will probably add a few here and there that I think that may fit your criteria.  I want you to find the home of your dreams, you see… I won’t be living there you will.  So it is your choice on which home to buy and when to buy it.

I will get you the information you need or point you in the direction to get the information you need to make a sound decision on where YOU WANT TO CALL HOME.
