Selling your Metro Detroit Home

 You want to sell your Northville home and you are trying to pick out the right agent.  So how do you do that?  What agent is the best?  What do you want an agent to do for you? How do you want your listing agent to advertise your home?Believe it or not but most homes are sold through the MLS system.  When you list your Northville home with a real estate agent that belongs to the local MLS board your home gets uploaded into the system.  Then your Northville homegets advertised on sites like Realtor.com and MoveinMichigan.com along with about 50 other sites.Then your home will most likely be uploaded to your agents personal website, and the agents companies website.  If your agent is internet saavy your home will be blogged about on Activerain and other blogging sites.  Your internet saavy agent will be posting the home to as many sites as possible.But your Northville home will most likely be found by the buyers agent.  What happens is the buyers agent logs into the MLS board and puts in the buyers criteria.  The agent may say Northville Real estate, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, over 1600 square foot home with a two car garage.  Then the MLS will pull up all the Northville real estate that fits the criteria.  The agent then can just  email all the listings right to the buyers email.  That is how many homes get found.By getting your message out.  That is what we as your selling agent do.  We try to get your message, your home’s message out.

Or they get found through sites like this and my Livonia, Wayne County, and Oakland County MI real estate site.  I get emails daily about sending listings out, or requests to go and see a homes in Wayne, Oakland, and Livingston county.

What I try to do is to be found in as many areas as possible.  If you put in Livonia SubdivisionsNorthville subdivisionsPlymouth subdivisions, or Novi subdivisions, or Oakland County lakefront properties you will find my site popping up which will mean that people will find your home also.

The bottom line is to get your home on the MLS and price it right then it will sell.
