Brighton and Brighton Township are talked as if the are one place but actually they are two separate communities. The City of Brighton has a centralized city center with great stores and restaurants.  It is a quaint community that residents enjoy every day of the week.  Many home buyers seek out communities with city centers.  Add in that Brighton has a good school system and low crime you will see why home buyers like to live in Brighton.

What is nice about Brighton Township homes is that they have one of the lowest property taxes in Southeastern Michigan.  So you can have a big house but low taxes.  Another great feature is that land prices were relatively inexpensive for years around Brighton.  So you will find that homes are not jammed in on top of one another.  You will find homes that have “space”.  Some homes have up to an acre and some even have more.
